Job Description Nemours is seeking a Nursing Assistant for our 3 West floor! Position is full-time - 60 hrs every 2 wks, 12-hr rotating shifts, every third holiday, two weekends out of six. Neurology and neurosurgical patients are also cared for on 3 West. This unit was designed to provide single patient care rooms to allow for privacy and family presence during the hospital stay. Responsibilities Ensures an adequate stock of all necessary equipment and supplies in designated areas at established par levels. Ensures a clean and safe patient care unit. Assists patients with activities of daily life (bath, feed, play, etc.) and provides other patient care as directed. Assists other staff in examination or treatment procedures including positioning, holding and comforting patients. Assures all supplies are accurately charged.
