Perform history and physical exams, manage chronic cardiovascular conditions (e.g., hypertension, heart failure, coronary artery disease, atrial fibrillation), order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans. Nuclear Stress Lab Duties : Prepare patients for nuclear stress testing (exercise and pharmacologic). Explain procedures clearly and compassionately to patients, addressing questions and concerns. Administer and monitor pharmacologic stress agents (e.g., regadenoson, Adenosine) . Supervise and assist with patient monitoring during stress testing, including IV placement, vital signs, and ECG monitoring. Work closely with the attending cardiologist, nuclear medicine technologists, and nursing staff to ensure safe and efficient test completion. Assist with preliminary reporting and quality assurance as needed. This is a full time position located in Staten Island, NY. The schedule is Monday through Friday 9:00AM-5:00PM (must be flexible) One Saturday a month required. Preferred Criteria Prior experience working in an outpatient cardiology practice or stress lab.
