The Value Analysis Specialist is responsible for the Product Evaluation/Value Analysis Program (PEVA) through collaboration with Executive Leadership, Supply Chain Leadership, Medical Staff, Clinical Staff, and Vendors. Implements organization-wide strategy/direction to reduce expenses and improve clinical outcomes and quality. Under general supervision, assumes 24-hour accountability to plan and provide direct professional nursing care for specified patients throughout the entire episode of service delivery as defined by population and unit. Our team works closely with multiple specialty areas to provide compassionate care, innovative treatment options, and novel clinical therapies to children and young adults affected by cancer and blood disorders. Our staff are provided a strong foundation for caring for this population by offering both Hem/Onc Foundations classes and Chemotherapy/Biotherapy classes. Advanced Cellular and Gene Therapy (ACGT) is a six bed unit operating in partnership with MS8 through a shared nursing staff and integrated model of care.
