Identifies and addresses psychosocial, cultural, ethnic and religious/spiritual needs of patients and their families. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Expectations Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of medications and their correct administration based on age of the patient and their clinical condition. Basic computer knowledge. Able to organized tasks, develop action plans, set priorities and function under stressful situations. Ability to maintain a good working relationship both within the department and with other departments. Must have good and regular attendance. Must read, write and speak fluent English. Responsibilities for RN Supervisor: Supervise and coordinate nursing care activities to ensure residents receive safe, effective, and timely care. Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies and procedures. Qualifications for RN Supervisor: Must possess a current, unencumbered active RN license in the state of Pennsylvania. Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required. Ability to manage care for multiple patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting required. No previous supervisory experience required; training will be provided. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff, residents, families, visitors, and regulatory agencies. Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and applicable laws, regulations, and standards in nursing care centers.
