Position Overview The licensed vocation nurse (LVN) is responsible for providing safe, compassionate, and focused nursing care to assigned patients with predictable health care needs. The LVN works under direct supervision of the registered nurse (RN) and assists with carrying out the patient’s plan of care in accordance with the state’s nurse practice act. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs. Demonstrated abilities in customer service, interpersonal communication, and teamwork. Skillful and professional interaction with coworkers, residents, family members, agencies, and the public. Understanding and consistent adherence to relevant regulations, policies, and procedures. Successful completion of background check, health exams, and other pre-employment criteria. Sufficient English language proficiency (reading, writing, speaking) for effective job performance.
