Maintains confidentiality of the patient medical record. Counsel and educate patients and their care partner on treatment plans. Administer medication following the five rights of medication administration. Provide wound care and dressing changes, as applicable. Consult with physicians to decide on best treatment decisions when appropriate Performs nursing interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
