JOB SUMMARY: The Nurse Practitioner (NP), Acute Care delivers primary care to patients, including those in the complex and chronically ill population. Seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) who thrives in a fast-paced environment to serve in a rotating cross-cover and admission capacity. While on admissions APPs are responsible for working closely with the nocturnist attending to admit medically complex patients throughout the night. On cross-cover APPs are responsible for overnight coverage of adult medicine teams, including internal medicine, hematology, medical oncology, and transplant. Duties include triaging, assessing, and intervening upon acute patient issues that occur overnight and handing off to the primary team in the morning. New graduates are welcome to apply.
