Highlights Join a collaborative team of 12 physicians and 11 APPs, along with a full complement of clinical support staff. Our providers work a 4-day schedule with rotating weekend hospital coverage (roughly 1 in 12 weekends). Candidate must be able to provide face-to-face and virtual clinic visits, along with providing inpatient support and support with general EP procedures in the cath lab. This position will require rotation between the main clinic location in Mount Vernon and a satellite office roughly 30 minutes away. This is a hospital employed position with access to a large, existing in house specialty and primary care referral base. Integrated EPIC EMR platform utilized system-wide throughout the organization with newly implemented ambient AI technology (Abridge) available! Qualifications Master s degree or higher in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited program. 2-4 years of APP practice experience is preferred. LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS Current State license as an APRN with specialization in Family or Pediatrics. Current CPR certification required. MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Must provide record of a completed diploma (or equivalent) or academic transcript for those areas performing complexity testing. Meets and maintains state licensure, certification and/or educational requirements as a Nurse Practitioner. 3 - 5 years of pediatric experience preferred. Advanced professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice. Execution of Non-Competition, Confidentiality, and Non-Solicitation Agreement for CMG (Children’s Medical Group, Inc.) required. WORKING CONDITIONS Normal patient care environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like. Frequent exposure to communicable disease and moderately adverse working conditions due to performance of certain patient care activities.
