Scan and upload documents to the appropriate patient charts. Keep exam rooms clean, organized, and fully stocked before clinic, between patients, and at the end of the day. Process medication refills as directed by the physician and obtain medication prior authorizations/determinations as needed. Verify that physicians are in-network and ensure current referrals and authorizations are documented in the patient’s chart. Assist physicians with wound care, procedures, and other clinical needs. Follow up on patient calls and voicemails and accurately document conversations. Educate and inform patients regarding diagnostic imaging, labs, referrals, procedures, and other physician orders. Schedule follow-up appointments as directed by the physician. Obtain required authorizations before sending orders. Monitor the main fax line and distribute incoming faxes to the appropriate team members. Travel to other CLS Health locations as needed. Perform other related duties as assigned.
