Short Description The Registered RN is a professional caregiver who, as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and who supervises and provides care to these patients utilizing the nursing process including the therapeutic use of self. Follows established policies and procedures. Communicates openly with internal customers and supervisors. Laurel and Willingboro locations are only outpatient units, whereas the Special Test Unit (STU) , located on the sixth floor in the main hospital is an outpatient and inpatient unit. All are run by the hospital largely to serve diagnostic and therapeutic needs of the Gastroenterology Division. The most common gastroenterology procedures are upper endoscopy and colonoscopy. In the pulmonary suite (STU only), endoscopy of the airway procedures is performed, and are commonly called bronchoscopy. All units are staffed by surgical schedulers, patient service representatives, nurses, and GI technicians. Anesthesiology is present for all GI procedures. Nurses rotate between the admission (Pre op), procedure suites, recovery (PACU) and pre-admission testing. They must be familiar with all roles and procedures in the GI Unit. Experience Required Require 2 Years Acute Care Experience (Med Surg, ICU, ER, etc.); GI or PACU Experience Preferred Education Requirements Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing License/Certification Requirements Current NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse) Current NJ-BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) Special Requirements 9 shifts in 6-week schedule

We are currently hiring PRN Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) in skilled nursing for nights 11pm-7am PRN $27.00-$37.00 hr The primary role of the Assisted Living LPN is to perform day-to-day nursing activities in the provision of resident care. Each staff nurse performs these duties within the scope of practice that they are licensed to perform. Responsibilities include: Performs resident assessment through use of direct physical assessment, behavior monitoring, various assessment forms, review of hospital records, laboratory results, resident medical records, and information provided by the interdisciplinary team, resident and/or the resident's significant others. Monitors residents for changes in condition that may indicate progress or deterioration in the resident's overall status. Notifies physicians and families of changes and transcribes orders received. Administers medications according to facility policy and monitors residents for therapeutic and adverse effects. Notifies physician and pharmacy of suspected and actual adverse reactions. The shifts could be M-F 11pm - 7am, or Sat/Sun 7am - 3pm, 3pm - 11pm, or 11pm - 7am.
