Develop and mentor nursing leaders while creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, professional growth, and shared decision-making. Champion evidence-based practice, performance improvement, innovation, and effective change management. Support Magnet Recognition/Pathway to Excellence standards, professional nursing practice, collaborative governance, and nursing excellence. Represent Nursing on entity and system-wide strategic initiatives, committees, and performance improvement efforts. Serve as a senior nursing executive and provide leadership coverage in the absence of the Vice President of Nursing/Chief Nursing Officer as needed. What We're Looking For Required Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from a nationally accredited program. Master's degree in Nursing or a health-related field from a nationally accredited program. Current Registered Nurse licensure in Maryland and/or appropriate Compact State Licensure. 5–7 years of progressively responsible nursing leadership experience , including experience at the Director of Nursing level or equivalent and above. Demonstrated experience leading complex nursing operations, clinical teams, and patient care services. Strong experience with financial management, staffing/productivity, quality and safety, workforce performance, and operational improvement. Exceptional leadership, communication, collaboration, and decision-making capabilities. Preferred Doctoral degree in Nursing Leadership, Health Services Administration, or related discipline.
