Conducts and documents the Direct and Comprehensive assessments required for patients to determine dispositions. Reviews referrals and determines appropriateness for patient admission criteria with assistance of policy and procedures. Schedule: NOC Shift Sunday-Wednesday / 10 PM - 6:30 AM Qualifications Education: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required. A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. Experience: A minimum of two (2) years experience as a registered nurse in a psychiatric health care facility preferred. Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the State Board of Nursing. Additional Requirements: Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications. CPR certification and successful completion of the hospital’s designated physical and behavioral management training program, including de-escalation and appropriate use of seclusion and restraint, required prior to assisting in the procedures. Incumbent may be required to work overtime or flexible hours.
