Assist physicians during catheterization procedures, angioplasties, pacemaker implantation, and other cardiac procedures. Understand and operate special devices, including intra-aortic balloon pumps, rotablators, AngioJets, thrombus aspiration systems, cutting balloons, and filter wires. Qualifications, Desired Skills, and Experiences: A minimum of 1 year of experience in a cardiology catheterization lab is preferred; ICU experience is also preferred. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required. Experience in advanced cardiac rhythm interpretation and moderate sedation is required.
