As a Director of Nursing Services, you will play a crucial role in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of our Nursing Services Department, ensuring that our residents receive top-notch care in a safe and efficient manner. Marlborough Hills is an 186-bed skilled nursing facility with a large SUDS population. Salaried role up to $160,000. Responsibilities: Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the nursing service department, according to state and federal guidelines and scope of patient care. Maintain and review clinical policies and procedures, and develop new ones as needed. Develop and implement a nursing service organization structure. Determine the staffing needs of the nursing service department and make recommendations to the Administrator. Oversee licensed nursing staff and develop work assignments and schedules. Develop and maintain an on-call program for the nursing department. Conduct daily rounds of each nursing unit and review satisfaction of care and services with families and residents.
