Job Description Job Function: 01. ASSESSMENT: Appropriately admits patients following proper patient identification procedure Performs patient assessment that is systemic, comprehensive and accurate with complete documentation. Assesses chart findings and physical status of each patient, reporting abnormal findings to the physicians. Assesses for needs of the patient and significant others/family. Explains to the patient and their family members the important processes they will need to know while they are a patient here. Identifies patients and/or families most in need of personal assistance, and/or helps in resolving issues with distressed customers. Job Function: 02. DIAGNOSIS Identifies patient needs and problems. Analyzes assessment data to determine relevant patient diagnosis. Job Function: 03.
