The unit also serves a small subset of gynecological surgical patients. Cardiology unit is a 35 bed unit that specializes in ALL aspects of cardiac issues Extended Medical Care Unit is a 25 bed medical unit specializing in patients with acute care needs that require an extended length of stay. General Medical Unit is a 29 bed step down unit caring for a variety of medical patients including oncology, pulmonary, and renal.
