Candidates should possess skills in training and education, with experience developing and delivering learning sessions or competency-based programs for clinical staff. Candidates should possess research and clinical research skills, including the ability to interpret evidence, utilize data for quality initiatives, and support outcomes measurement. Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State required; BSN preferred, advanced degree in healthcare or quality improvement is an advantage. Experience in clinical quality improvement, performance improvement, or patient safety within an acute care or teaching hospital setting strongly preferred. Familiarity with regulatory and accreditation requirements (e.g., Joint Commission, CMS), quality metrics, and tools such as root cause analysis and PDSA cycles beneficial. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, use electronic health records and data analysis tools, and maintain a detail-oriented, organized approach.
