The RNFA practices under the supervision of the surgeon during the first assisting phase of the intraoperative role. Demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning , directing, and provision of nursing care to patients in accordance with the N.H. Nurse Practice Act, recognized nursing techniques, and both clinical and administrative policies. Provides leadership and clinical support to staff and serves as management representative for the CVOR. The Clinical Coordinator working in the CVOR will be required to participate in unit based CQI initiatives.
