Provides assessment and planning for individualized patient care. Communicates with physicians about changes in patient’s clinical condition including fetal monitoring and results of diagnostic studies. Ability to assess presenting part by Leopold Maneuver and/or digital exam. Ability to assess fetal cardiac activity with ultrasound transducer and contraction activity with Toco transducer.
