Oversees and audits changes made to care plans. Delivers hands-on care and medicine distribution as needed. Audits and completes charting, evaluations, medical forms, and other administrative tasks. Identifies procedural problems and works with the Director of Nursing to resolve issues. Evaluates, prioritizes and meets the care needs of each resident. Other necessary job functions: Participate in Quality Assurance, Safety, PIPs and other committees as required. Provide a safe working environment for staff members, promptly reporting any accidents and implement corrective and preventive action appropriately Participate in daily morning meetings. Provide education and coaching to nursing staff as needed to improve patient/resident outcomes. Provide clinical backup to floors as needed. Take weekend on-call according to the assigned on-call rotation schedule (if applicable). Complete Chart audits for Medicaid patients monthly.
