Overview About the Role The primary purpose of the Staff Nurse - OBGYN position is to provide patient care (neonate to maturity) based on the identified individualized needs of assigned patients and families within the clinical nursing role. Qualifications What You’ll Bring Required: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a current license to practice in the State of New Jersey/BSN preferred. Current IV/Venous Access Device Certification required. Preferred: Two years’ experience in Maternal – Child; Obstetrical and Gynecological specialties preferred, having worked in an Ambulatory Care Service/outpatient care setting, preferred. ANA certification preferred. Ambulatory Care Certification preferred. Two years’ experience in specialty procedures to include but not limited to: Fetal Monitoring, Non-Stress Testing preferred. The Cardiac Stress Test RN provides professional nursing support and service for patients, functioning with a high degree of knowledge, skill and experience in cardiovascular care that is applied to achieve optimal outcomes through critical analysis, problem solving and decision making. The primary role of the Cardiac Stress Test RN is to supervise the administration of cardiac stress testing. Cardiac Stress test includes Exercise ECG Testing, Stress Echocardiography and Stress Radionuclide Cardiac Imaging To be successful in this role, the Cardiac Stress Test RN must: Competent performance of exercise testing requires significant cognitive knowledge and understanding of cardiac disease states. This includes knowledge of but not limited to: cardiovascular and exercise physiology, including hemodynamic response to exercise, appropriate indications, alternate physiological cardiovascular test, prompt recognition and response to complications. Qualifications Education: As required by licensure. BSN or degree in progress strongly preferred.
