Issues related to assault or abuse. 6 Analyzes patient related data, such as vital signs, past medical history, physical exam findings, laboratory values and other information, including age-specific criteria, to determine appropriate care. 7 Utilizes advanced, specialized knowledge and skills to implement interventions for all Emergency Services patients, by prioritizing needs, and using a patient centered approach. 8 Provides health education and teaching to patient’s, family members and/or significant others, that is age specific, providing for any barriers to learning. Prepares reports and analysis associated with the institutions core measures programs i.e. senior management reports, departmental and clinical service program evaluation, quarterly reports, etc. 2. Facilitates cooperation within the program between all departments, services and units. 3. Provides timely status reports of results of quality monitoring relative to areas that are assigned including identification of patterns and trends that require actions. 4. Collaborates with other members of the health care team in the development, implementation, and ongoing review of policies, procedures, and standards of care for designated patient populations. 5. Demonstrates knowledge of hospital, departmental and care center standards, policies, procedures and guidelines as well as regulatory agency standards. Assures readiness for Joint Commission and other agency surveys and presents related programs during Joint Commission and other agency visits. 6. Participates in the development and implementation of continuous quality improvement programs. 7. Participates in quality management activities including identifying and communicating issues of performance improvement and risk in a timely manner. 8. Participates in committee activities. 9. Is aware of and responsive to budgetary constraints and incorporates financial principles into program development and allocation of resources. 10. Recognizes each individual's right to health care unrestricted by age, race, color, sex, age, national origin, disability, sexual orientation or source of payment. 11. Assists in the performance appraisal process of designated Nursing staff. 12. Researches opportunities for use in benchmarking for assigned areas. Qualifications Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing is required. Master’s in Nursing is required Progressive job related experience specific to area of responsibility New York State License with current registration as a registered professional nurse, nurse practitioner preferred. The salary range for the role is $115494 - $173241 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need.
