ANCC Magnet Recognized UPMC Passavant is currently hiring a Full-Time Professional Staff Nurse to support the PACU/APS Department at the McCandless Location. Prior experience in a Critical Care or Emergency Department setting is required for this position. Candidates with prior nursing experience in PACU or Peri-Op areas are strongly preferred and encouraged to apply! Title and salary will be determined based upon education and nursing experience. Description The Clinical Nurse is a Registered Professional Nurse who provides safe, competent quality care based on nursing theory and research to a designated group of patients and significant others. Responsibilities Patient Care 1. Delivers patient care by incorporating the tenets of the professional practice model of Relationship Centered Care and through the application of the nursing process based upon theory, research, evidence-based practice, and approved organizational nursing standards. 2.
