INCU has critically care-trained RNs who support the patient's needs and care for ventilated patients. South 10 also has 2 negative pressure isolation rooms with an anti-room that is used when needed for specific isolation needs. We do multidisciplinary rounds Monday – Friday. This involves the patient in their care and allows the team members to collaborate with the patient to give them the best possible care and appropriate discharge to home or other facilities. We have a pharmacist who has an office on the unit to assist the RNs when needed to help avoid delay of care to any patient. Assignments may be day-to-day or long-term float placements. A minimum of 12 hours per scheduled period is required and may be met through a combination of 4-, 8-, or 12-hour shifts. What You’ll Do: As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in delivering and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
