The Allergy Lab RN is required to have expert clinical assessment skills, exemplary attention to detail, and the ability to function autonomously in a largely protocol-driven setting. In the allergy clinic care team, RNs are responsible for in-clinic patient education visits on a wide range of topics, including asthma action plan management, environmental allergen control measures, medication management, etc. Additionally, RNs are responsible for the indirect care and management of patients over the phone and thru the electronic medical record portal. In this capacity, RNs will provide, medication management, follow-up care, outcome management, and phone triage of patient inquiries. Demonstrated teamwork and relationship building skills are important as RNs collaborate with providers, desk operations staff, and other members of the care team. All entry-level associate degree registered nurses with a RN start date of April 1, 2020 and after must provide documented evidence of program completion of the baccalaureate degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program within five years from the last day of the month of the RN start date. Additional Qualifications: Minimum of one year of recent RN experience strongly preferred. Current ambulatory and/or phone triage experience preferred.
