Work to achieve and maintain continuity of resident care by assisting in planning and exchanging information with other health professionals, as well as family members. Provide physical and emotional support to the residents. Observe and report significant changes in resident condition. Assist with resident admissions, transfers, and discharges. Assist Physician and RN in performing specialized procedures. Document changes in condition, physician visits, and provide a monthly summary of resident activities. Respond to emergency situations competently and calmly, exercise appropriate judgment. Provide direct supervision to the nurse aides and assist in planning and coordinating quality care. Complete Incident/Accident Reports as necessary. Provide general individual resident care and treatments. Sign on bonus-Full-Time $7500.00, Part-Time $3750.00 Shifts available 7a-3:30p 3p-11:30p 11p-7:30a NO INSURANCE NO BENFITS POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for overall care of assigned residents and supervision of direct care staff in the community. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Current, valid RN or LPN license. Experience in long-term healthcare preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills needed, both verbal and written documentation. POSITION DUTIES: Help implement and evaluate care plans for individual care of each resident. Maintains appropriate nursing service objectives, goals, and standards of nursing practices. Receive, transcribe, and implement physician’s orders in a timely manner. Reports required condition changes, events to appropriate parties. Administers medication/treatments as prescribed. Monitors infection control compliance. Investigates/documents accidents/incidents.
