The Labor and Delivery unit functions Bloomington Hospital, and consists of 12 inpatient beds, a 4-bed triage area, 2 Operating Room Suites, and a 3-bed recovery room. This unit provides inpatient and outpatient care coordinated by L&D RNs to serve the needs of antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum patients and their newborns. Our unit focuses on evidence-based care to ensure we are providing the best, most up to date care to our patients.
