The Director of Nursing is a member of the HBC management team and works within the framework of the mission and values established by UCSF Health. The Director of Nursing oversees all adult HBC faculty practices clinical operations, systems and processes, providing direct and indirect supervision of administrative and clinical staff in multiple departments including; malignant hematology, nonmalignant hematology, blood & marrow transplant and cellular therapies. The Director of Nursing ensures exemplary provision of care to research and standard-of-care patients in both inpatient and ambulatory settings.
