Job Description The BCH Oakland Infusion Center serves the Pediatric Specialty population at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland. The treatments include, but are not limited to, apheresis, chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, blood transfusions, hydration and electrolyte therapy, injections and blood draws, enzymes and iron infusions, and antibiotics. The center consists of 14 chairs/beds and treatments include research and standard of care infusions. The infusion centers are staffed by Nurses, Medical Assistant, and a Practice Coordinator. This position requires the incumbent to utilize the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care.
