Administers medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician. Attends and participates in Interdisciplinary Group Meetings. Completes, maintains and submits accurate and relevant clinical notes regarding patient's condition and care given. Supervises ancillary personnel and delegates responsibilities when required. Qualifications: Graduate of accredited school of nursing Current RN license in California Current CPR Certificate Registered nurses shall have a minimum of (a) one year of experience as a professional nurse within the last three years OR (b) have a baccalaureate degree in nursing from a program accredited by the National League for Nursing and current RN license. Minimum of two years experience, at least one of which is in the area of public, home care, or hospice nursing. Must have a valid CA driver license and an automobile that is insured in accordance with the requirements of state of California and is in good working order. Job Summary Prepare patients for provider exam, take vital signs, record patient history and assist in office procedures. Administer treatment, medications and injections as ordered. Conducts pre-visit planning by reviewing and updating patient charts prior to appointment with recent test results and correspondence. Call patient regarding test results as instructed by provider. Will float to nearby clinics as needed. Willing and able to travel to multiple worksites. Job Requirements Minimum Education Requirement: High school diploma/GED required or 1-2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in lieu of High School Diploma. Completion of Medical Assistant Program required. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred. Minimum Experience Requirement: Three to five years in a healthcare setting is preferred. Computer skills. Excellent customer service skills. Minimum License Requirement: BLS required within 90 days of hire/transfer. Completion of annual Medical Assistant Competency training. Current California CPT (Certified Phlebotomy Technician) certificate or completion of an external MA Phlebotomy training. Must travel to multiple clinics Mon-Fri: 8am-5pm Delivering world-class health care one patient at a time. Pay Range: $23.15 - $34.73
