Position Summary We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Admissions Registered Nurse (RN) to join our hospice team. The Admissions RN is responsible for evaluating patients for hospice eligibility, completing admission assessments, coordinating the start of care, and educating patients and families about hospice services. Collaborate with clinical staff to facilitate seamless transitions of care. Maintain compliance with Medicare, state, and agency regulations. Participate in on-call or weekend rotation as assigned (if applicable). Provide compassionate emotional support to patients and families during the admission process. Qualifications Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Minimum of one (1) year of hospice nursing experience required. Strong assessment and critical thinking skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
