Our Presurgical Evaluation Clinic is dedicated to excellence in patient care. As a Medical Assistant, you’ll be an integral part of our dynamic team, supporting healthcare professionals and ensuring top-quality service for our patients. Duties To Include Staff will support our Presurgical Evaluation Clinic patients. Responsible for facilitating the smooth flow of patients through the clinic through interaction with patients, families, and staff. Leads and ensures an efficient rooming process for patients, including but not limited to obtaining vital signs, patient history, medication records, allergies, and immunizations. Assists in clinic with physical examination of patients and related treatments. Supports management of internal and external medical records to ensure that accurate and complete data is available for patient appointments. Obtains routine laboratory samples such as urinalysis and blood work, as needed. Performs related clerical tasks including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and providing information to other departments. Works closely with Central Sterile team to ensure delivery of reusable instruments for processing, accounting for return of all instruments to clinic, monitoring reports, and supporting organization of new instruments. Stocks supplies, stocks rooms, and monitors expirations. Daily, weekly, monthly audits. Supports strong patient experience metrics by providing high quality and patient centered care.
