Maintains documentation accuracy and completeness in EMR: assessments, vitals, symptoms, treatments, medications, education, charges, lab results, histories, and consults. Maintains and monitors supplies, equipment, medication stock, and office machines; follows maintenance and quality control protocols; reports malfunctions. Recognizes and responds appropriately to urgent/emergency patient needs and initiates emergency procedures. Other duties as needed and assigned by the manager. Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, Trinity Health’s Organizational Integrity Program, Standards of Conduct, as well as other policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical, and professional behavior. The CSU is a 17-patient observation unit designed to provide immediate, therapeutic intervention for individuals in psychiatric crisis. The unit features an open-concept milieu with a large central space equipped with comfortable reclining chairs rather than traditional hospital beds. Individual therapy rooms are located adjacent to the central living area to promote timely, patient-centered care. The environment includes homelike amenities such as TVs, music, and web access, creating a calming and supportive setting that promotes stabilization and recovery.
