Proudly supported by Marquis Health Consulting Services Full-time opportunity available Same Day Pay! $79k-$115k/yr (all inclusive) Responsibilities for a Unit Manager: Assume responsibility and accountability for resident care on assigned unit Oversees resident care to promote the highest level of physical, mental, and psychosocial functioning possible for assigned unit Ensures complete and prompt reporting of incidents with follow-up as necessary to Administrator and Director of Nursing Actively participates in committee/programs as directed by Director of Nursing Participates in the development and implementation of new policies and procedures based on identified needs Qualifications for a Unit Manager Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in this state. Valid BLS Certification (CPR) Nursing degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Five (5) or more years of nursing experience required; Two (2) years or more years of experience as a supervisor in a nursing care Center, hospital or other related health care Center. Assists the RN by performing patient care activities delegated to the unlicensed nursing support staff as well as additional specific functions for which he/she has been prepared. Incorporates the concepts of the Hospital's Customer Service Program into all aspects of patient care activities. Accountable to the Nurse Manager or designee for all activities. Education High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Trade School Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant Program or current Nursing student with satisfactory completion of at least one clinical rotation Required or Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required Experience 1 year experience in a Nursing Assistant role Preferred Licenses Basic Life Support Required
