Reception/Clerical task which include but is not limited to: Scheduling appointments, verification of insurance, checking in for appointments, coordinating patient referrals, coordinate insurance medication prior authorizations, ordering of supplies and equipment and restocking of supplies and accurate documentation of phone calls and patient care. Proper storage, handling and administration of vaccines. Be able to determine vaccines appropriate for patient based on past vaccine records, age and the CDC and MDH vaccine schedules. Perform and document Phlebotomy, EKGs and waived lab testing. Assist the Physician/PA/CNP with continuance of patient care by coordinating diagnostic testing and referrals to inside and outside providers. Data Collection for Quality initiatives. Required Education and Experience BLS Certification Valid driver's license required; travel between clinic locations may be necessary.
