Job Description We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide comprehensive primary care services in an outpatient clinical setting. The Nurse Practitioner will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic medical conditions while emphasizing preventive care and health promotion. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive patient assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications in accordance with state law, providing patient education, and collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Master's or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from an accredited institution. Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or eligibility for licensure. Current Nurse Practitioner (NP) license/certification in the state of practice or eligibility for licensure. National certification as a Nurse Practitioner in Family Practice, Adult-Gerontology, Internal Medicine, or another appropriate primary care specialty. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred. Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain. Minimum of one (1) year of experience providing primary care, family medicine, internal medicine, urgent care, or outpatient clinical services preferred. Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and clinical documentation. Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, patient education, communication, and critical thinking skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills. Weekend Surgical Technologist - Surgery - Flex 0.6 (48 hrs biweekly) (69861)

In an environment of continuous quality improvement, t he Surgical Technologist is responsible for performing a wide variety of patient care activities in the operating room scope of activities while supporting the medical and nursing plan of care to patients. The Surgical Technologist handles the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure. The position has an understanding of the procedure being performed and anticipates the needs of the surgeon while having the necessary knowledge and ability to ensure quality patient care during the operative procedure and is constantly on vigil for maintenance of the sterile field. Exhibits the MHS Standards of Excellence and exercises strict confidentiality at all times. Job Functions: Checks supplies and equipment needed for surgical procedure including scrubs, gowns and gloves. Sets up sterile table with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications/solutions needed for procedure. Performs appropriate counts with circulator prior to the operation and before incision is closed. Gowns and gloves surgeon and assistants. Helps in draping sterile field. Passes instruments, etc., to surgeon during procedure. Maintains highest standard of sterile technique during procedure. Prepares sterile dressings. Cleans and prepares instruments for terminal sterilization. Assists other members of team with terminal cleaning of room. Assists in prepping room for the next patient. Obtains appropriate sterile and unsterile items needed for procedure. Opens sterile supplies. Properly cares for specimens. Secures dressings after incision closure. Assumes all other duties and responsibilities as necessary. Minimum Education/Experience Required: Completion of Surgical Technology program and certified as a Surgical Technologist or 3 years’ experience as a Surgical Technologist and willing to obtain certification within one year of employment. The Surgical Technologist certification for current employees in a Surgical Technologist position prior to 3/28/18 will be grandfathered in and will not be required. BLS certification required. Maintains compliance in RQI required. Special Knowledge, Skills, Training: The staff member must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her unit.
