A MSN or DNP are not required but supersede the requirement for the BSN. YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: None required REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: The RN demonstrates the knowledge, abilities, and skills to provide age and culturally specific patient care and education. Responsibilities: · Personal Care Assistance : Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. · Meal Preparation : Prepare nutritious meals based on clients' dietary preferences and restrictions. · Mobility Assistance : Help clients with mobility challenges by providing assistance with walking, transfers, and exercises as prescribed by healthcare professionals. · Companionship : Engage in friendly conversation, companionship, and recreational activities to promote emotional well-being. · Light Housekeeping : Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, vacuuming, and maintaining a clean and organized living environment. · Transportation : Accompany clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and other errands as needed. · Monitoring Health Conditions : Observe and report any changes in clients' health conditions to the appropriate healthcare professionals or family members. · Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records of care provided, including daily activities, observations, and any changes in clients' conditions. · Communication : Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other team members to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to care. Qualifications: · High school diploma or equivalent. · Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred. · Compassionate and patient with a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for others. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. · Ability to follow care plans and adapt to the changing needs of clients. · Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if transportation is required for the role). · Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
