This is a 36 hour/week position on a 31-bed pediatric neuroscience unit, inclusive of a 12 bed Epilepsy Monitoring Unit. Opportunity to flex cover the Neuro Critical Care consult service following additional orientation. Key Responsibilities: First line care of Epilepsy and Neurology patient population on the inpatient neuroscience unit, including assessment and medical history, physical exams, diagnosis, and family centered care of patients and their families. Consulting in an interdisciplinary manner on all assigned inpatients during daily rounds and managing assigned patients throughout the course of the day. Participating in ongoing research and quality improvement initiatives, as well as facilitation of patient/family and multidisciplinary team education.
