The team sees everything from sore throats, ear infections, lacerations and broken bones to more serious conditions like stroke, heart attack, cardiac arrest, and traumatic injuries from motor vehicle and farming accidents, gunshot wounds and stabbings. Lancaster General Hospital, a Level I-accredited Trauma Center, recently completed a major expansion and remodel of the ED that nearly doubled the size of the department, from 63 beds to 95 beds. This includes 10 beds in our updated and expanded behavioral health unit, and 13 dedicated pediatric beds. Education Qualifications Technical Diploma Nursing Required Bachelor's Degree Nursing Preferred Experience Qualifications At least one (1) year RN experience.
