We see patients through many phases of their cancer care from new diagnosis, chemotherapy or radiation treatment, and symptom management. One group of nurses prepare and recover the patient following the procedure, while another group of nurses is in the rooms with the interventional radiologists and others to assist with the procedures. Some of these nurses do go over to MD Anderson for Radiologic cases scheduled over there.
