Job Description The Outpatient Radiology Nurse provides safe, efficient, and compassionate nursing care to patients undergoing outpatient diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures. Maintain and manage the department’s allergy/contrast allergy protocol list, ensuring accurate documentation and communication of patient allergies and required precautions. Monitor patients before, during, and after imaging procedures and identify changes in condition requiring nursing intervention. Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, providers, and other members of the healthcare team to promote safe and efficient patient care. Provide patient education regarding IV procedures, hydration, contrast administration, and post-procedure instructions.
