Position Summary : The purpose of this position is to render professional nursing care to residents; to follow facility policies and procedures to implement treatment orders; to assess resident treatment needs and take appropriate action; and to maintain residents’ medical records. Experience and Education : Current and valid New Jersey L.P.N. License with no present or prior restrictions and/or suspensions, and have not had any other professional license suspension and/or been revoked from practice. A minimum of one (1) years of nursing experience, preferably in geriatrics. 
Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care needed by Wound Care and hyperbaric patients. Maintains knowledge about principles, theories, current best practices and techniques for wound nursing care. He/She will collaborate with patient, patient family, significant others, professional peers and other members of the health care team to individualize and provide quality care. Wound Care Certified (WCC) or Wound Ostomy Continence Nursing (WOCN) certification required within 2 years from date of hire Education Bachelor's Degree Nursing Required Experience Licenses PA Registered Nurse License Required Basic Life Support Required Wound Care Certified Required or Wound Ostomy Cont Cert Bd Required Advanced Cardiac Life Support Preferred Multi State Compact RN License Required Or

Experience and Education : Applied Associate, Diploma or Bachelors degree from an accredited school of nursing or institute; and one year of LTC /Skilled experience. Must have a Registered Nurse’s License current, with no judgments against it, in the state in which he/she is practicing. Must be BLS and CPR certified. A minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience, preferably in geriatrics.
