Assist with reducing agency utilization and developing a strong, reliable facility-based nursing team. Clinical Oversight & Quality Monitor resident care and clinical outcomes. Review nursing documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance. Ensure safe medication administration, treatments, and clinical practices. Oversee management of incidents, changes in condition, infections, wounds, falls, and other clinical concerns. Monitor quality measures and develop strategies for improvement. Lead and participate in QAPI initiatives . Identify trends and implement sustainable solutions rather than simply addressing individual problems. MDS, Care Planning & Interdisciplinary Collaboration Partner with the MDS Coordinator and interdisciplinary team to ensure accurate and timely assessments. Safe use of less invasive, life supporting modalities i.e. BiPAP, ETCO2, arterial pressure based CO/CI & SVO2 monitor, core temperature monitors. Must be able to work 7:00a-7:00p Qualifications Your qualifications should include: Critical Care/Telemetry experience or Telemetry competency within 6 months of hire. State of Illinois Registered Nurse License. Graduate of NLNAC or CCNE school of Nursing Basic Life Support (BLS) certified through American Heart Association upon hire and maintained in position. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certified through American Heart Association upon hire and maintained in position. ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy or Chemotherapy/Biotherapy or Chemotherapy Immunotherapy course obtained within 6 months of hire for experienced RN’s and 12 months for New Grad RNs. National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)certification within 6 months of hire and maintained in position. Oncology Certification through ONCC when eligible or 6 oncology CE every year (18 oncology CE total every 3 years) for the Oncology Commission Cancer cycle. Must complete Caring for the Oncology Patient course by end of orientation period. Completes Critical Care Series in Education System within 12 months of hire.
