Your Role on the Team Position Summary The incumbent performs assigned nursing procedures, taking vital signs, collecting and processing specimens for analysis, and assisting physicians with examinations and treatments. Incumbent observes, records and reports the physical and mental condition of patients. This position may be filled as an LVN Vocational Nurse (008917) or SR LVN Vocational Nurse (08916) and the classification is dependent upon certification held and experience held. The Vocational Nurse position requires LVN license in the State of California; the Sr Vocational Nurse requires license and minimum 6 months experience working as an LVN in an acute care setting.
