Location: Wildwood Orthopaedic & Spine Hospital Department: Surgery Weekly Hours: 0 Status: Per Diem Shift: Days (United States of America) Job Summary: When surgeons are in the operating room, the Surgical Tech First Assistant will help in exposure, hemostasis, closure, and other intraoperative technical functions to help the surgeon carry out a safe operation with optimal results for the patient. You will maintain the sterile field and address any breaks in technique. Years of Experience: Must have at least 3 years’ experience in the operating room and have passed the certification exam. Certification: Must maintain current certification through acquisition of mandatory contact hours of continuing education as approved by the Association of Surgical Technologists (AST).
