Description The Medical Assistant I provides clinical office support to physicians and surgeons and performs patient care and administrative duties necessary to deliver quality patient care. This individual is also responsible for assisting with clinical, administrative and organizational tasks associated with patient care coordination. Responsibilities 1. IMT teams are hired, trained and funded to maximize flexibility and continuity of care for persons who historically have been poorly served. Overview The Registered Nurse (RN) functions as a primary practitioner who assesses and monitors IMT participants' clinical health and response to treatment.
