Order and interpret relevant diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging as needed. Prescribe medications, wound care products, and therapies in accordance with clinical guidelines. Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapists, nutritionists, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team. Educate patients, caregivers, and clinical staff on wound prevention, treatment, dressing changes, and pressure injury prevention. Document assessments, procedures, treatment plans, and patient outcomes accurately and timely.
