Job Summary/Overall Objectives The Licensed Practical Nurse functions as a member of the health-care team by exercising sound nursing judgment. Shift 7p to 7:30 a.m. w/every 3rd weekend Scheduled Weekly Hours 24 POSITION PURPOSE : Demonstrates proficiency in administering the fundamentals of the nursing process in a specialty unit, contributes to the nursing assessment and the development of the nursing care plan, and participates in the evaluation of nursing care within an assigned unit, department or specialty area. Maintains patient records and documents to ensure an accurate record of the patient’s medical and nursing care.
