Senior Registered Nurse - Psychiatric Emergency Department

Location: Main Hospital Bldg - 1st Flr Work schedule: Full-time Nights, 7:00 p.m.-7:00 am., with rotating weekends and holidays. Primary Purpose A Registered Nurse (RN) with greater than 2 years of experience. The RN is a licensed professional who uses the Parkland nursing professional practice model to coordinate patient care delivery, that focuses on a particular patient population(s)/specific health conditions, by the health care team. Qualifications Graduate from a nursing program required; Bachelor's or Master's in nursing preferred. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Nursing must be obtained within three years of hire. Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Minnesota required. Previous experience in mental health nursing and American Nurses Association (ANA) Psychiatric – Mental Health Certification preferred. Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) initial and on-going training required and provided.
