Our House Supervisor (RN) is responsible for the nursing leadership and coordination of assigned nursing personnel. This position ensures the delivery of quality nursing care by managing and supervising the staff providing direct care. Serves actively and constructively as member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team in support of the organization and program treatment philosophy; to ensure the safety and well-being of patients. Shift: PRN - 12 hour Shifts Key Responsibilities: Leadership in Patient Care: Leads the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care services, demonstrating clinical expertise and ensuring a therapeutic environment. How you make a difference The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides a full range of psychiatric services to incarcerated patients in accordance with state scope of practice, collaborative protocols, and established policies. This role delivers direct psychiatric care while also providing clinical consultation to mental health and healthcare staff. Clinical consultation and supervision are sought as required under applicable collaborative practice requirements. Key Responsibilities Provide psychiatric evaluations, treatment, and follow-up care while exercising independent medical judgment. Monitor and manage psychotropic medications, including effectiveness, side effects, and required follow-up. Collaborate with mental health, medical, and administrative teams to ensure consistent psychiatric and mental health services. Complete timely, accurate clinical documentation and participate in required meetings, consultations, and on-call coverage. Qualifications & Requirements Education Master in Science of Nursing or Post-Master’s Certificate from an accredited nurse practitioner program with a specialty in psychiatric mental health across the lifespan.
